As your roof gets older with weathering and ageing they lose the weatherproof coating and sand begins to wash out leaving them exposed to the weather and the build up of dirt. This growth in turn can absorb vast amounts of moisture which adds weight to your roof. During the colder months of the year this will all freeze and speed up the erosion and wear of your tiles.

Every day wear and tear will produce weaker tiles, broken or missing tiles, cracks and loose pointing. At this point the task of protecting your home becomes a lot harder. A roof not able to work efficiently will fail and cause costly problems.

How do we stop this in its tracks?

We hydro pressure clean the entire roof surface to remove all the moss, lichen, dirt and pollution. Once fully cleaned and rinsed we carry out all necessary repairs and replace broken or damaged tiles. At this point we apply anticide to remove and remaining moss and lichen spores in the roof. At this point re apply Climate Cooler roof coating. This provides two significant effects, partly reduced heat absorption from the roof, thus achieving significantly better indoor climate and lower temperatures and partly reduces need for cooling significantly thus saving electricity for air conditioning and ventilation. The warmer the climate the greater the effect.
